- 12 surveys since 2003
After the great success in 2003, in which the study was first conducted in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, the idea arose to develop an initiative from the study for the German speaking countries. Thus, the study since 2004 in Germany, since 2005, conducted regularly since 2008 in Austria and South Tyrol. By using the same questionnaires, it is possible both to draw on the experience gained, as well as to ensure comparability of data.
Satisfaction as a review feature
Basically, “satisfaction”is a subjective magnitude, which is decided from the perspective of the respondent. On the other hand, it is precisely this “satisfaction ” that constitutes a successful ERP installation. In this sense, the results are presented below, while important for decision makers and developers, but they are not the measure of all things. The practical application of studies made since 2003 in various projects has shown that the results of the study as a barometer can be used. A barometer, although it allows no final and binding forecasts, there are hints on how the weather might develop. The same applies to the various aspects of satisfaction: You give the user an indication, expected in the areas with problems, thus allowing better planning. As an exclusive selection tool is the “Satisfaction Barometer unsuitable!
